Sci-tech novelty retrieval is a complex mental work. The sci-tech novelty retrieval staffs in colleges and universities have become a high-risk group of job burnout. From four aspects of society, occupation,work and individual, this paper analyzes the reasons of the job burnout of the sci-tech novelty retrieval staffs in colleges and universities , and from two aspects of improving the personal quality and establishing the scientific and effective incentive mechanism , probes into the countermeasures for relieving the job burnout of the sci-tech novelty retrieval staffs.
