The objectives for application report of prolonged water intake in construction projects are to evaluate the variation of water withdrawal,water quality,assurance degree of water resources,quantity and ways of water drainage during the practical op-eration of construction projects,and neanwhile,to exanine the practical water intake and use,inplenentation of water resources conservation and the protective neasures. Through exanining the accuracy of the predicted results about the influence of water in-take and drainage in the water resources assessnent report,the application report provides technical supports to the adninistrative approval of prolonged water intake. The paper focuses on the study of the technical route,the prinary coverage,the evaluating inportance and difficulties of the prolonged water intake application. Conbined with practical exanples,the distinction and rela-tionship between the application report of prolonged water intake and the water resources assessnent for construction projects is pointed out.
