The dangerous points of cold state start-up of a 300 MW unit without start-up steam were intro-duced.Through control of the key parameters (such as the drum wall temperature difference,drainage flow at the boiler side,steam temperature and pressure and reburning of the flue gas in tail duct)during the unit start-up,the problems easily occurred during the unit start-up with no start-up steam can be avoided,which ensures successful start-up of the unit.
