This paper reviews the laws in microstructure transformation and the mechanical properties changing for T/P92 steel during the aging and creep exposure process at high temperature.The precipitati-on sequences of various carbides and their variations in size and morphology are discussed in detail,as well as the inner link between the microstructure and the mechanical properties.Besides,the reasons for decline in creep strength and premature failure for T/P92 are discussed in terms of precipitations evolution,lath martensite degradation,alloying elements diffusion and so on.Finally,the methods for creep life prediction are reviewd and forecast.
