Preparation of 1,4-naphthoquinone by air -catalytic oxidation of naphthalene has the advan-tages of simple process ,easy separation of products ,is the main research method .In this paper ,the reac-tion mechanism and its research progress of preparation 1,4-naphthoquinone by air -catalytic oxidation from naphthalen is introducesd ,and the further study is expected through the analysis of reaction mecha-nism and novel process design .
