Aiming at the problem of low-level automation of clamping in the clean process of certain type connecting rod of auto-mobile engine,according to its own structural characteristics,three feasible clamping schemes were introduced. Through a comprehen-sive analysis and comparison of the advantages and disadvantages among them,hanging fixture was selected which had strong flexibil-ity,simple structure,high security and stability.
