多端直流具有直流互联、多电源供电和多落点受电等优势,成为直流输电技术的发展方向。控制保护技术作为制约多端直流发展的重要因素受到广泛关注。基于多端直流系统常用的并联接线形式,对双端直流线路保护原理在多端直流线路保护的适用性进行了分析。并根据多端直流线路的拓扑结构特点,利用故障行波波头到达各站的时间差异,能反映出故障点的位置信息,提出一种线路保护的故障支路判别方法。该判别方法,无需线路连接点的各支路电流,有助于故障快速隔离和系统恢复运行。

The multi-terminal DC (MTDC ) has the advantages of DC interconnection,multiple power supply and multiple load placement,which is the development direction of DC transmission technology.As an important restricting factor,the control and protection technology for MTDC has being paid more and more attention.Based on the commonly used parallel connection for MTDC,the applicability of the two-terminal DC line protection principle for MTDC was analyzed.According to the topological structure characteristics of MTDC, a fault branch identification method was proposed,based on the principle that the different arriving time of the first travelling wave between converter stations could reflect the location information of fault point.This identification method doesn't need the branch currents at line connected point,and can offer a better solution for the fault isolation and system operation recovery.
