高职院校专业人才培养目标定位是随着经济社会发展和高等教育本身发展而变化的。高职院校培养社会各行业和部门所需要的人才，其专业人才培养目标总的定位是应用性人才，而具体的专业培养目标则包含了多种不同的类型，不能用一种类型来概括。
