The AutoCAD content teaching based on mechanical drawing was explored. Firstly,the basics of computer graphics was introduced,and then how to set up drawing environment in line with mechanical drawing national standards in AutoCAD was described,that is how to set up the template file.With this template file the two-dimensional graphics drawing and editing,section line of playing,dimensioning,assembly and parts diagram mapping were very easily.Lastly how to generate three-dimensional graph and output drawing were introduced.
