1912-1949年汉语新词新语研究价值较大，但研究难度也较大且不受重视，研究手段主要依靠人工检索。该研究应该结合现代科学研究方法，确定词目，建立语料库，提高研究效率，尽快编纂1912-1949年汉语新词新语词典。

The new words formed from 1912 to 1949, though of great value for research of the Chinese language, were more difficult to study than ancient Chinese and thus were largely neglected by researchers.Research meth-ods in this field relied mainly on manual retrieval.The study of new words in Chinese from 1912 to 1949 has to be combined with modern scientific methods, and corpus should be established so as to improve research efficien-cy and accomplish the codification of The Dictionary of Chinese New Words from 1912 to 1949 as soon as possi-ble.
