Based on the gas double-walled tube adopted by 28000m3 LNG ship project, double-wall pipe diameter calculation and model of the arrangement are considered in the design stage. As well as combining with the manufacture, welding, tightness research on the ship, the double wall piping which meets the inspection requirements of the owner and classification society is produced. This research can provide a practical guidance for the building of LNG ship using the double-wall piping in the future.
