Taking the key equipment of quenching device for millions tons of ethylene plant as an example, the paper carry on the analysis to the important link in the quality control in terms of the construction process. the basic task of the pressure vessel construction quality assurance system was interpreted, the key of quality assurance for pressure vessel construction is to develop a reasonable and strict implementation of complying with the design standards requirements of the quality program, especially the making of process card during the construction and the thoroughly check for each control points. Concluding that:the execution of pressure vessel construction quality plan is not only the witness of pressure vessel quality assurance system effectively running, but also is the fundamental guarantee to realize the pressure vessel safety by no fails occurring during construction process.
