语气的表达在所有语言中都具有普遍性，语气的种类也都有共性，只是语气表达的具体手段各有差异。其中，英语的语气和汉语的语气都可借助语调、语序、情态动词、副词、叹词等来表达，但二者也有着各自独特的表达手段，语气助词就是汉语有而英语无的一种语气表达手段。针对这一现象，汉译英文小说对话时要恰当使用语气助词辅助传达语气，并遵循四个原则：个性化、情景化、目的性和情感性，译者应充分认识语气助词在对话翻译中的重要性。
語氣的錶達在所有語言中都具有普遍性，語氣的種類也都有共性，隻是語氣錶達的具體手段各有差異。其中，英語的語氣和漢語的語氣都可藉助語調、語序、情態動詞、副詞、歎詞等來錶達，但二者也有著各自獨特的錶達手段，語氣助詞就是漢語有而英語無的一種語氣錶達手段。針對這一現象，漢譯英文小說對話時要恰噹使用語氣助詞輔助傳達語氣，併遵循四箇原則：箇性化、情景化、目的性和情感性，譯者應充分認識語氣助詞在對話翻譯中的重要性。
어기적표체재소유어언중도구유보편성，어기적충류야도유공성，지시어기표체적구체수단각유차이。기중，영어적어기화한어적어기도가차조어조、어서、정태동사、부사、우사등래표체，단이자야유착각자독특적표체수단，어기조사취시한어유이영어무적일충어기표체수단。침대저일현상，한역영문소설대화시요흡당사용어기조사보조전체어기，병준순사개원칙：개성화、정경화、목적성화정감성，역자응충분인식어기조사재대화번역중적중요성。
Although people all over the world speak different languages,they have almost the same types of mood. Only the way of expressing the mood is different. Mood is expressed through tones,word order,model verbs,adverbs and interjections both in English and Chinese. But there are also many different ways to express mood between them. Mood auxiliary words which do not exist in English at all are used in Chinese to express people's mood. Due to the difference mentioned above and the significance of mood auxiliary words in Chinese,proper usage of the mood auxiliary words is required in translating English dialogues into Chinese. This paper puts forward four principles for the translator to follow. They are principle of individuality,contextualization,purposefulness and affectivity,which are complementary and can not be separated from each other when translating. Translators should be aware of the significance of mood auxiliary words in translating dialogues.
