在发动机开发中借助CAE,如多体动力学模拟仿真、热力学、振动学分析等,能够解决发动机中疲劳破坏、功率和油耗大、振动和噪声使发动机品质下降等问题,也能够避免传统发动机研发过程中仅仅靠参考国外同类型样机,依赖工程设计人员的主观经验,经过大量盲目试验与测试的缺点。通过在某发动机开发中使用CAE软件BOOST、ABAQUS、FIRE等的实例来说明CAE技术在发动机开发中越来越重要。

The engine is developed by means of CAE,such as multibody dynamics simulation,thermodynamic and vibration analysis,so the problems of engine fatigue failure,large power and fuel consumption,and quality reduced by vibration and noise can be solved. Also dur-ing several stages of traditional engine development process,the defects can be avoided,as only by reference to foreign similar prototype,de-pending on subjective experience of engineering design personnel and needing a large number of blind testing and experiments. CAE software, such as BOOST,ABAQUS,FIRE,were used in examples to illustrate application of CAE technology in engine development.
