随着信息技术的迅速发展，社会对人才的需要已经由单一的知识型到知识技能型。本文结合民族院校的实际情况，以北方民族大学为例，分析了计算机基础课教学中所存在的问题，结合本校提出了对民族院校计算机基础课的一些改进措施，分层次分专业教学、案例教学、实验小班授课，建立自主学习平台等，以提高民族院校计算机基础课的教学效果，提高学生计算机的实际操作能力。

With the rapid development of information technologies, social demand for talents has already changed from the original simple knowledge type to knowledge and ability type. Based on the actual situation of national colleges and universities, this paper analyzed the existing problems of computer basic course teaching in Beifang University of Nationality. In order to improve teaching effectiveness of computer basic courses in the national universities and students’computers actual operating capacity, some measures, including hierarchical sub-professional teaching, case teaching, small classes in experimental course, building self-learning platform, were proposed.
