对某供电局一起配电网自动化终端设备起火事故进行分析,现场检查发现箱内电池炸开,大部分设备已被熏黑,结合历史数据分析认为电池爆炸起火是造成该次终端箱烧毁的主要原因。为此,对引发火灾的锂离子电池进行抽样诊断分析,发现该电池的设计存在缺陷,电芯的数量和容量选择均存在问题,此外缺乏过充、过放、过温等报警装置;对电池解体进行扫描电子显微镜(scanning electron microscope,SEM)测试,发现电极表面有铜析出,认为这可能是由于电池过放电导致的,这使得电芯发生内短路,并最终引发起火事故。最后,总结了事故的经验和教训,对在电力系统等新场合应用锂离子电池提出建议。

One fire accident of automation terminal unit (DTU)of power distribution network in some power supply bureau was analyzed.Lithium ion battery in the box was found to be exploded and most equipments were sooty on the scene.Com-bining with historical data,it was considered that the main reason for this accident was explosion and fire breakout of the lithium ion battery.Therefore,the lithium ion battery causing fire accident was sampled and diagnosed and it was discovered defects in its design.There were problems in number and capacity of the cell as well.In addition,lack of over-charge,over-discharge and over-temperature alarm devices was also discovered.Scanning electron microscope testing was conducted on the disintegrated battery and copper was found on the surface of electrodes.It was considered to be caused for reason of o-ver-discharge of the battery which also resulted in internal short-circuit of the cell and finally caused fire accident.Accident experience and lesson was summarized and suggestions on applying lithium ion battery in power system were proposed.
