临时用电安全是水利工程施工现场安全生产的重要环节。一些水利施工现场临时用电存在安全管理不规范、安全防护技术措施不规范的问题。为防止临时用电安全事故发生，水利工程施工现场应从管理制度、专业人员、费用投入、教育培训、隐患检查排查等方面强化管理，并规范供电接零保护系统、电气设备接零保护、漏电保护装置等技术防护措施。
