神经炎症伴随小胶质细胞的激活是一系列神经系统疾病的共同特征。在激活的小胶质细胞中,转位蛋白(TTSPO)表达上调。利用TSPO放射性配体进行正电子发射断层扫描显像,可以观察和研究脑内神经炎性反应的进展及严重程度。文中综述小胶质细胞显像的原理及在神经退行性疾病,如在帕金森病和阿尔茨海默病的应用。

It is common in the central nervous system that neuroinflammatory reactions are often accompanied with activated microglia in the brain. The activated microglia can express more 18 kDa translocator protein (TSPO), which can be quantified by the specific radioactive ligands together with positron emission tomography (PET). It provides an in vivo tool for tracking the progression and severity of neuroinlfammation in neurodegenerative disorders. The theory and applications of in vivo microglia imaging in neurodegenerative disorders such as Parkinson’s disease and Alzheimer’s disease were reviewed.
