当今社会，面对传统社会和准军事化社会纠纷解决机制的失落，司法作为纠纷解决的途径在诉讼“爆炸式”增长等现实问题中也深陷困境。作为多元化纠纷解决机制中重要的基层纠纷解决方式，人民调解能够较好地应对大量矛盾纠纷所导致的司法困境。尽管《人民调解法》颁布后基层人民调解工作有了国家基本法的法律依据，但纠纷解决效力的提升还有赖于人民调解工作专业性的增强。借助我国当前社会工作发展之力，人民调解师的推进与发展能够进一步促进人民调解工作的专业化发展，对化解基层社会矛盾、维护社会稳定具有重要意义。
噹今社會，麵對傳統社會和準軍事化社會糾紛解決機製的失落，司法作為糾紛解決的途徑在訴訟“爆炸式”增長等現實問題中也深陷睏境。作為多元化糾紛解決機製中重要的基層糾紛解決方式，人民調解能夠較好地應對大量矛盾糾紛所導緻的司法睏境。儘管《人民調解法》頒佈後基層人民調解工作有瞭國傢基本法的法律依據，但糾紛解決效力的提升還有賴于人民調解工作專業性的增彊。藉助我國噹前社會工作髮展之力，人民調解師的推進與髮展能夠進一步促進人民調解工作的專業化髮展，對化解基層社會矛盾、維護社會穩定具有重要意義。

Facing the weakness of dissension-solving mechanism in the traditional society and the paramilitary society, judicature, as a way of dispute resolution, encounters many challenges with the explo?sive growth of litigation and other problems in the modern society. People's mediation is the most impor?tant approach of multiple dispute resolution mechanism on the local society. It plays a positive role to com?pensate the considerable number of disputes caused by the plight of justice. After the People's Mediation Law was promulgated, though, the people's mediation acquired the force of law, but the effectiveness of dispute resolution also depends on the promotion of professional development. With the progress of social work in our country, we hold that the people's mediators can promote the level of professionalization fur?ther by the occupational advancement and development. Meanwhile, the people's mediators have signifi?cant in the dispute settlement on local society and the maintenance of social stability.
