Combined with previous research ,this article introduces the after treatment techniques which aim to reduce the emission of particulate matter from diesel engine and analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of these techniques considering the practical application .Then the article introduces the comprehensive treat‐ment technique to deal with PM and other hazardous substances based on the article's research .
