The characteristics of professional in-site teaching section of power plant for thermal power engineering were introduced. The difficulties that young professors faced in teaching section were analyzed. The methods that yo-ung professors could adopt to improve in-site teaching section of thermal power engineering were proposed according to authors' practices.
