地理标志和农产品商标在农业产业化为主的现代农业中的作用举足轻重，兵团独特的自然条件和生产管理优势更能强化该作用。近年来兵团申请并利用了部分地理标志，形成了不少农产品品牌。然而开发不足、品牌杂乱、各自为政的现状难以形成具有竞争力的商标。因此，通过借鸡生蛋等方法巩固利用已有地理标志，统一管理、形成合力、兵地共建、充分开发，才能充分发挥地理标志和农产品商标在现代农业中的作用。
