To develop comprehensive abilities, students should not only grasp professional knowledge, but also expand their scope of knowledge, which makes selective courses necessary and important. With online resources becoming increasingly rich, online courses have become an inevitable trend of selective courses. Online courses in universities are explored and studied in this paper from several aspects.
