汉口中山公园经历了从私家花园到共和新政公园的变迁，表现出西学东渐、新旧接替的典型时代特征。本文从分析革新精神角度出发，基于中山公园发展的四个历史时期，分别从总体格局、园林要素和纪念性表达途径三方面系统地分析中山公园的空间结构变迁及其园林艺术特色，为当代园林的传承与革新提供启示和借鉴。

Hankou Zhongshan Park has gone through changes from private garden to public park, which exhibiting a typical time characteristics of learning from the west and regeneration. From the perspective of the spirit of innovation, based on four historic period of park development, the overal pattern, garden elements and monumental expression ways of Hankou Zhongshan Park are systematical y discussed to analyze the changes of its spatial structure and landscape art features, which can provide inspiration and reference for contemporary landscape heritage and innovation.
