The overhauling of No .3 switch operation device of generator output end in Shuibuya hydropower station is in-troduced , including the fault condition , main process and technical procedures of the overhaul .Possible reason of this fault is also analyzed after the overhauling .It shows that aging of the seal could be the main reason of the frequent ran-dom faulty operation of the switch device .Precautions are then proposed .
