Dangerous sources and hidden dangers were summarized,and their difference and the correlation were illustrated.For dangerous sources,they could not be eliminated,but should be identified,detected,monitored and prevented.While hidden dangers could be precontrolled, checked and rectified.The management of dangerous sources and hidden dangers in coal mines were introduced.At the last,taking the production system of coal mine as an example,the prin-ciple of accident prevention was expounded,providing a basis for the effective prevention of coal mining accidents.
