A design scheme of multi‐channel pulse amplitude analyzer based on field‐programmable gate array (FPGA) is introduced .Hardware components and the theory of screening the threshold are discussed and the amplitude discriminator threshold is remotely set up .FPGA is used for data collecting and processing .The core of the conversion and control unit is achieved in XC 3S400PQ208 from Xilinx Corporation .By using the MicroBlaze soft‐core processor in FPGA ,the threshold controlling of the comparison circuit and multi‐channel pulse amplitude analysis algorithm can be implemented .The accuracy of threshold screening is 0.8 mV .The system has high integration level and higher accuracy and better stability in data processing .The remote setup of threshold avoids close contact with radioactive source .
