The Lavender has the many kinds of important pharmacology active constituent and the many species are used for medicinal function. In this article, the medicinal functions, application present situation and the application prospect of medical health care from Lavender were introduced and discussed. the scientific basis for the reasonable exploitation and the application of Lavender in medicinal function was provided.
