A new method to transmit both baseband signal and RF(radio frequency)signal in a coaxial cable is introduced. A circuit to isolate baseband signal and RF signal was designed. The baseband signal is transmitted according to C?MBUS Stan?dard. On the 1 km coaxial cable,which transmits 40 dBm RF signal,4800 bps transmission rate was achieved,and 10 mA cur?rent can be provided for slave node. It has the advantages of simple circuit,low cost and easy networking. It is applied to trans?mitting the additional information of low data rate in the RF coaxial cable.
