The principle and applications of urea package are summerized at the molecular structure level.The advantages and disadvantages of the different operations on urea package are also discussed.Meanwhile, the shortcomings of the single method of urea package in separation of polyunsaturated fatty acids as well as corre-sponding improving means are put forward.The derivatives of urea, cucurbit[ n] uril, is also introduced and the host-guest interaction is also discussed.
