For the intelligent vehicle, the display of vehicle road image needs high instantaneity, and the amount of data that the processor needs to deal with is large, so, the double module of DSP_FPGA is used to implement the high performance real-time processing of the vehicle road image. The periphery of this system has simple circuit and powerful features, and it can implement the recognition, tracking and matching of the image. This paper detailedly expounds the design procedures and hardware constitution of the processing platform of vehicle road image and the simulation experiments have been carried out.
