In Mu Dan's poetry, an effective unity has been achieved between the use of conjunctions and the individual poetic pursuit.The unity is shown in the consistence between the properties of conjunctions and Mu Dan's pursuit of poetic richness and conveying of richness, as well as in the blending of conjunctions and Mu Dan's ad-vocating of "rational lyrics"and narration of poems.The use of conjunctions in the poems demonstrates the pursuit for modernity of Mu Dan's poetry, and has effectively promoted the formation of a different kind of poetic beauty of Mu Dan's poetry.
