随着近年来嵌入式行业高速发展，基于地理位置信息的地图技术得到了广泛的关注。2007年5月30日，google公司推出了街景地图，颠覆了很多人对于传统地图行业的认识，相比于传统地图，街景地图可以人们提供更加真实的信息服务，充分展示地区的地理文化特征。结合目前高校文化建设的过程，我们可以将街景地图应用到其中，不仅能够提供传统的地图服务，还能够展示所在位置的全景图，充分展示大学生生活的美好场景。
