LED显示屏在环境光的影响下,其显示图像的对比度和有效动态范围会产生一定程度的下降。所谓动态范围,就是一幅图像可见区域亮度的最大值与最小值之比。本文介绍了将图像高动态范围压缩至低动态范围,同时保留原图像感观质量的高动态范围显示技术,并仿真其应用于受环境光干扰的LED显示屏后效果。实验表明,该种技术可以有效提高被环境光影响的LED显示屏图像显示质量,显示图像更加接近真实效果。

Under the influence of environmental light, the contrast and effective dynamic range of the image, which is showed on the LED display, will produce a certain degree of decline. The so-called dynamic range, is the intensity ratio of the maximum and minimum of the visible region in an image .In this paper, we introduce the algorithms that can transform a high dynamic range image into a reduced dynamic range image while retaining important visual information, then apply them to the LED display which has been affected by the ambient light. Experiments show that this technology can effectively improve the quality of images on the LED display, and they are close to the real ones.
