多元智能理论产生于美国哈佛大学，是一位名叫H.加德纳的学者提出来的。加德纳是一位教育学家及心理发展学家。自多元智能理论的提出，全世界教育界的学者和教育专家给予了广泛的关注。在关注的同时，更是把此理论运用于教学改革和教学实验，使多元智能理论得到了长足发展的同时，更验证了此理论的先进性和实用性。本研究本着参考与借鉴多元智能理论并树立多元智能理念，在理念的影响作用下，构建体育教学模型，并结合实验研究，使理论与实践相结合得出相关结论：以多元智能理念为影响因子，在建立体育教学模式的前提下，论证了多元智能理念对体育教学的良好影响，并充分体现了多元智能体育教学的优势，填补了传统体育教学的不足和缺陷。通过多元智能体育教学，综合培养学生的各方面能力。
