美学与政治的关系是一个古老而不衰的话题。在西方，柏拉图最早提出“美是理念”的命题，但同时又认为“诗人”应该被排除在“理想国”之外。如何理性地处理美学与政治的关系，对经历了一个多世纪的战争和动乱的当代世界来说，对需要建立和完善当代社会意识形态的中国来说有着重要的意义。该文从柏拉图的命题看似矛盾的地方入手，通过从哲学上分析美学与政治的理论起源和发展逻辑，分析两者之间的辩证的历史的关系。

The relationship between aesthetics and politics is an ancient and enduring topic. In the west, Plato first put forward “Beauty is the Idea of the Good”, but also that the Poet should be excluded from the Republic. A rational treatment of the relationship between aesthetics and politics is important and significant for the modern world that experienced more than a century of war and chaos and for China in the need to establish and improve contemporary social ideology. This paper attempts to analyze the theory origin and the development logic of aesthetics and politics philosophically, then to analyze the historical and dialectical relationship between them from Plato’s thesis that seemed contradictory.
