2014年10月，福建某番鸭场因患疑似鸭沙门氏菌病导致雏番鸭大量死亡，为确诊雏番鸭死亡原因，对送诊的死亡雏番鸭进行细菌分离、生化鉴定和针对沙门氏菌 fimW 基因作 PCR 鉴定，并对分离菌进行药敏试验以及动物回归试验，试验结果表明：引起雏番鸭死亡的原因是鸭沙门氏菌病。
2014년10월，복건모번압장인환의사압사문씨균병도치추번압대량사망，위학진추번압사망원인，대송진적사망추번압진행세균분리、생화감정화침대사문씨균 fimW 기인작 PCR 감정，병대분리균진행약민시험이급동물회귀시험，시험결과표명：인기추번압사망적원인시압사문씨균병。
In October 2014,a high mortality of Muscovy ducklings occurred in a Muscovy duck farm of Fujian. To identify the pathogen, a sample is taken from dead Muscovy duckings suspected to be Salmonellosis. The pathogenic isolate was identified to be Salmonella based on physiological and biochemical tests and amplifications of fimW (477 bp) gene and animal regression experiment. The test results show that the cause of death of the Muscovy duck is salmonellosis.
