Steel reinforced concrete is a compulsory course for undergraduate civil engineering major. This paper explores how to improve the teaching effect of steel reinforced concrete course which is concerned with by every teacher for the course. The writer hopes to make students comprehensively understand the course and improve students' comprehensive ability through the fo-llowing aspects put forward in this paper, such as curriculum content, teacher-student interaction, assignment and exercise, PPT application, strictly conforming to the standard, enhancing practice, changing the evaluation method on students, and strengthening teaching staff construction.
