Toll-like receptors (TLRs) connect the innate to the adaptive immune system.Of all these TLRs,TLR4 attracted the most attention.TLR4 is high expressed in lung cancer,and TLR4 activation can promote the development and progression of tumors.Therefore,in order to find new strategies to treat lung cancer,it is important to elucidate the role of TLR4 in the development of lung cancer.This article briefly reviews the structure,function of TLR4,the relationship between TLR4 and lung cancer and its possible mechanisms.
