Nucleos(t) ide analogues are widely used in chronic hepatitic B treatment.With the extension of therapeutic duration,drug resistance due to the gene mutations negatively influences therapeutic efficacy.The optimal strategies about how to prevent and treat the drug resistance in the whole-course treatment with nucleos(t)ides in order to improve the efficacy of antiviral therapy are reviewed in this article.
