As an important active ingredient of liquorice,glycyrrhizin has anti-virus,anti-inflammatory,anti-allergic,anti-oxidation,anti-tumor and immunomodulatory effects.Glycyrrhizic acid modulate the innate immunity and adaptiva immune system via a variety of signal transduction pathways.The immunomodulatory effects of glycyrrhizin is reviewed in this paper.
