上调基因-4(up-regulated gene-4,URG4)位于人染色体7p13,是一个新的候选癌基因,其扩增和过表达可能引起细胞内的基因调控异常.URG4参与细胞生长、增殖、侵袭、转移等多种生物学功能,在肿瘤的形成及演进中起重要作用.该文就URG4基因与不同类型肿瘤关系的研究进展作一综述.

Up-regulated gene-4 (URG4) is a novel putative oncogene that locates on the 7 p 13 of human chromosome.It has been shown that the amplification and overexpression of URG4 altered gene regulation in cell.The up-regulated URG4 involved in many biological functions such as cell growth,proliferation,invasion and metastasis,which played an important role in the process of tumorigenesis and development.In this review,we have summarized the progress that has been made in understanding the role of URG4 gene in different types of tumors.
