Notch信号转导通路参与调控细胞增生、分化及凋亡.异常的Notch信号转导通路可以诱导转基因鼠乳腺癌的发生,而在乳腺癌患者中,高表达Notch受体和(或)配体则与预后不良相关,因此靶向抑制Notch信号转导通路可能对乳腺癌治疗有益.
