本文以内容型教学模式(content-based instruction,CBI)的理念为基础,以护理英语教学为切入点,选取广州医学院2009级护理专业60名专科学生为研究对象,探索护理英语教学中建构CBI的途径与意义.结果表明,CBI在护理英语教学中有极大的可行性,以CBI教学理念为基础、以听说为导向的互动教学模式能够有效地提高护理英语教学效率,对促进学习者的专业英语综合应用能力、提高医护英语水平考试(护理类)(METS)二级通过率起到了积极的作用.

Drawing on the content-based instruction(CBI) teaching model and the teaching reform of Nursing English,this paper aims at studying how to construct CBI teaching model in teaching by analyzing the learning of 60 students of grade 2009 nursing major in Guangzhou Medical College.With our experiments,surveys,interviews and our detailed analysis,this paper finds out that CBI teaching model is effective in teaching nursing English,in that it promotes the efficiency in classes,enhances students' comprehensive ability in nursing English and helps them do better in METS 2 examination.
