现代医学模式的转变以及医疗卫生环境的变化对医学教育提出了新的挑战,“以问题为基础学习”(PBL)的教学方式由于具有注重培养学生自主学习能力、团队合作及沟通能力等优势,成为传统教学方式的良好补充.为了顺应新时期国家创新型人才培养的需求,北京大学医学部率先进行了“新途径”教育教学一体化改革,并将PBL教学理念和方式纳入教改体系之中.本文着重介绍了北京大学基础医学院根据北京大学医学部整体教改原则所建立的,在八年制医学生基础医学阶段教学中实施的PBL教学体系.

The transition of medical education systems from a biomedical model to a biopsychosocial model along with the changes and the complexities of the modern medical environment bring great challenges to medical educators in medical schools all over the world.Problem-based learning (PBL),is a concept used to enhance multidisciplinary skills using planned problem scenarios.It is an active way of learning that increases the ability of students to solve problems,while at the same time allowing them to acquire basic knowledge.As PBL focuses on cultivating active-learning,self-management,problem solving,and teamwork,it was adopted as one of the main teaching methods highlighted in the new pathway education reform plan by the School of Basic Medical Sciences at Peking University starting in 2008.The Center for PBL at the School of Basic Medical Sciences was established in 2010 as the first of its kind in China to support and promote high quality education in basic medical sciences and related disciplines by coordinating the development and adoption of effective PBL practices in learning,teaching and assessment.To date,the PBL center has enjoyed great operational success over the past two years,and over 400 medical students have been involved in the initial assessment period.PBL has been proven to be an extremely effective teaching module in the new pathway curriculum and is well accepted by almost all the tutors and students at Peking University Health Science Center.
