树突状细胞是专职抗原呈递细胞,具有2种不同的功能状态.其中,未成熟树突状细胞可诱导机体免疫耐受,而成熟树突状细胞则可激活初始引发机体免疫反应.而成熟树突状细胞只存在于角膜周边区,未成熟树突状细胞则同时存在于角膜周边区以及中央区.现就树突状细胞在角膜相关疾病中的作用进行综述.

Dendritic cells,having two distinct functional states,are professional antigenpresenting cells.Immature dendritic cells induce immunity tolerance but mature dendritic cells are uniquely able to efficiently stimulate naive T-cell responses.While the peripheral cornea contains mature and immature dendritic cells,the central cornea is endowed exclusively with highly immature dendritic cells.The role of dendritic cells in corneal-associated diseases is reviewed in this article.
