目的 探讨乙醛脱氢酶1(ALDH1)表达与脑胶质瘤病理级别及患者预后的关系.方法 应用免疫组织化学染色法检测298例脑星型细胞瘤组织中ALDH1的表达,分析其表达与星型细胞瘤病理分级及患者预后的关系.结果 WHOⅡ级星型细胞瘤中ALDH1阳性细胞比例约为(15±10)%,WHOⅢ级中约占(31±25)%,WHOⅣ级中约占(48±29)%,ALDH1表达与胶质瘤病理级别呈显著正相关(P<0.05).Cox多因素分析显示ALDH1表达为独立于患者年龄、肿瘤级别及手术切除范围等因素,与患者预后呈负相关的显著因素(风险比16.46,95%可信区间5.59 ~54.48,P<0.01).结论 ALDH1蛋白可能参与脑胶质瘤的发生、发展,其高表达提示胶质瘤患者预后较差.

Objective To study the correlation between the expression of aldehyde dehydrogenase 1 (ALDH1) and WHO grades of glioma or overall survival (OS) of patients with glioma.Methods The expression of ALDH1 in 298 gliomas samples was detected by using immunohistochemical staining.The correlation between the ALDH1 expression and WHO grades of glioma or OS of patients with glioma was statistically analyzed.Results The percentage of ALDH1 positive cells in glioma samples of WHO grade Ⅱ was (15 ±10)%,(31 ±25)% in WHO Ⅲ and (48 ±29)% in WHO Ⅳ respectively.The ALDH1 expression was positively correlated with WHO grades of glioma (P < 0.05).Multivariate Cox survival analysis revealed that ALDH1 was a prognostic marker for the patients'poor OS,independent of patients'age,WHO grades and degree of resection (hazard ratio:16.46,95% confidence interval:5.59-54.48,P <0.001).Conclusion ALDH1 may contribute to the development and progression of glioma and its higher expression indicates poorer OS of patients with glioma.
