[Abstract] Objective To investigate the microbial contamination status of market foods in Luchuan county and to provide the scientific basis for the prevention of foodborne diseases .Methods The detected samples were col‐lected ,analyzed and evaluated according to the national standard test .Results 128 samples in 2011 were detected . The qualified rate was 47.66%.The qualified rate of cooked meat products ,instant non‐fermented soy products ,fresh fruit and vegetable juices ,rice and lunch ,cakes and biscuits ,egg products ,infant formula powder and infant cereal‐based complementary food ,frozen cooked rice and flour products were 6.25%,12.50%,12.50%,12.50%,50.00%, 93.75%,93.75% and 100.00%,respectively .Conclusion The microbial contamination of market foods in Luchuan county is serious ,which needs to adopt the effective measure for strengthening the supervision and management .
