镉(cadmium)是一种对植物毒性极强的非必需微量元素,影响植物生长发育,甚至死亡,并可在植物体内积累而威胁食物链顶端生物的生命健康.目前已发现有多类基因家族的成员参与了植物中镉的吸收转运过程,包括P型ATP酶、ABC、MATE、NRAMP、CE、CAX、ZIP、OPT等.这些基因家族主要是在吸收转运铁、锌、镁等植物必需微量元素的同时,也具有吸收转运镉等有毒重金属的功能.

Cadmium (Cd) is an unessential trace element with extreme toxic to plants, which can influence the growth and development of plants and even induce their death. Furthermore, cadmium can threaten the life health of animals and human beings in the top of food chain due to accumulate in plants. To date, many gene families that involve in the absorption and transportation of cadmium in plants have been discovered. These gene families con-tain P-type ATPase, ATP-binding cassette transporter, multidrug and toxic compound extrusion family, natural re-sistance-associated macrophage protein, cation efflux family, H+/cation exchanger, Zrt-/Irt-like protein, and oligopeptide transporter. Most of the families are involving in the absorption and transportation of toxic heavy met-als such as cadmium simultaneously while uptake and transfer some essential trace elements of plants, for example iron, zinc and magnesium.
