The basic theory of reliability and evaluation method of ammunition were illuminated in the study. This paper introduces the application of traditional method and new method to assess the reliability of the photoelectric system respectively. The prospect of combined with bayes method, the grey system theory and the accelerated life test method for future ammunition-borne photoelectric system storage reliability evaluation method is feasible trend.
